Short-Term Storage

WOW!

Sometimes the new place isn’t ready when the old one has to be empty. Accessible Moving offers short-term storage so your belongings have a clean, secure place to wait, handled by the same insured crew that moves them. We are a licensed, bonded, and insured Massillon company, and your goods stay in our care rather than being passed to a third-party warehouse you’ve never dealt with.

Find out why Stark County folks go with Massillon movers when it’s time for a flat-rate move.

Storage covers padded loading into the unit, an inventory of what goes in, and careful retrieval when you’re ready. Furniture stays wrapped and pads stay on while it sits, so it comes out the way it went in.

Climate control and how billing works

This is what makes short-term storage worth it in Ohio. Our storage space is climate-controlled, which keeps the swings of a Stark County summer and a hard winter freeze off your furniture. Wood doesn’t crack from dry cold, upholstery doesn’t take on damp, and electronics aren’t sitting through a deep freeze. That matters when your things might wait a few weeks between closings.

Billing is simple and proportional. Storage is charged by the day or by the week, so a four-day gap between houses costs about what four days should, not a forced full month. You only pay for the time your goods actually sit with us. A $89 deposit holds your move-and-store date, and we give you the daily and weekly rate in writing before anything goes into the unit.

Moving the goods in and back out is priced like a standard move on our flat-rate scheme, a one-bedroom from $329, a two-bedroom around $549, with the storage time billed on top.

What we won’t store

We don’t store hazardous materials, fuel, propane, or anything flammable, and we don’t store perishable food or live plants. Firearms and ammunition aren’t accepted. We’re set up for household goods and furniture, not vehicles or large machinery. If you need long-term warehousing for months, we’ll point you toward a better fit; this service is built for the short gap between homes.

❓ COMMON QUESTIONS ❓

Q: How does day or week billing actually work?

A: You pay for the time your goods are with us, nothing more. If there is a four-day gap between your closings, you're billed for those days, not a whole month. Longer waits are charged by the week, which works out cheaper than stacking daily rates. We give you both numbers in writing before anything goes into storage.

Q: Is the storage really climate-controlled?

A: Yes. That is the point of using us in Ohio. The space holds a steady temperature, so your furniture isn't baking through a Stark County summer or freezing through January. Wood stays sound, upholstery stays dry, and electronics aren't sitting in a deep freeze for weeks while you wait on the new house.

Q: Can the same crew move my things out of storage later?

A: Yes, and that's the advantage of storing with the mover. The same insured team that loaded your goods retrieves them and delivers to your new address. Nothing is handed off to a separate warehouse company, and the inventory we took on the way in is the one we check on the way out so everything is accounted for.
