Long-Distance Moving from Massillon

WOW!

When you are leaving Stark County for another state, Accessible Moving carries the whole job on our own equipment. Greg Hartline founded the company in Massillon in 2012, and we hold the federal authority a long-distance mover needs: an active USDOT and MC number alongside our Ohio PUCO registration. The crew that loads your home is the same crew that unloads it, so your furniture isn’t transferred between trucks or handed to a stranger at a warehouse three states away.

Find out why Stark County folks go with Accessible Moving when it’s time for a flat-rate move.

A long-distance move covers full padding and wrapping of your furniture, secure loading, the over-the-road transport, and unloading into the rooms you choose at the destination. We disassemble and rebuild beds and tables, and we inventory the load so both ends match.

The binding quote and your delivery window

This is what sets a long move apart from a local one. We do a detailed walkthrough, in person or by video, then issue a binding written flat rate. Binding means the number does not climb on delivery day because the truck weighed more than someone guessed. Long-distance moves start from $1,890, and the figure on your paperwork is the figure you pay. You also get a delivery window, usually a short spread of days based on the route and distance, and we call with the firm delivery date once the truck is loaded and rolling.

A $89 deposit reserves your load date. Valuation protection works the same as on any move: released coverage is included at $0.60 per pound, and you can step up to full-value protection for roughly one to three percent of the declared value. The truck carries a $1,000,000 cargo policy.

What’s not included

Our binding rate covers the move as walked through and written. It does not cover items you add to the load after the quote without telling us, since that changes the weight and space. We don’t haul hazardous materials, perishable food, or live plants across state lines, and we don’t store your goods between pickup and delivery unless you add short-term storage to the booking. Boxing your belongings is a separate packing service if you want us to handle it.

❓ COMMON QUESTIONS ❓

Q: What does a binding quote actually mean for me?

A: It means the written price is locked. Some movers give a non-binding estimate, then reweigh the truck and bill you more on delivery day. We don't. After the walkthrough we hand you one flat number, you sign it, and that is what you pay as long as the shipment matches what we quoted. No surprise overage at the curb.

Q: How do you set my delivery day?

A: You get a delivery window when you book, sized to the route and mileage, and we call with the firm delivery date as soon as the truck is loaded and on the road. Because the same crew loads and unloads, there is no warehouse transfer in the middle to add unknown delays. If weather closes a highway, we keep you updated rather than leaving you guessing.

Q: How is a long-distance price set if it's flat-rate?

A: We base it on the inventory from your walkthrough, the distance, and any access details like stairs or a long carry at either end. That all goes into one binding number starting from $1,890. The more accurate your walkthrough, the tighter the quote, so we'd rather spend a few extra minutes counting boxes than guess and be wrong.
