Privacy Policy
In plain English: We only collect the information we need to give you a moving quote and complete your move — things like your name, contact details, addresses, and what you are moving. We do not sell your information, we do not rent it out to brokers, and we do not pass it around to other movers. We use it to do your job and to follow the law, and that is all.
This Privacy Policy explains how Accessible Moving collects, uses, and protects your personal information.
Information we collect. When you request a quote or book a move, we collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, phone number, origin and destination addresses, move date, and details about your household goods. If you pay by card, payment information is processed through a secure third-party processor; we do not store full card numbers on our systems.
How we use your information. We use your information to prepare your flat-rate quote, schedule and perform your move, issue certificates of insurance when your building requires them, process payments and deposits, and contact you about your move. We may also use it to respond to your questions and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations under Ohio PUCO and federal USDOT/MC rules.
How we share your information. We do not sell or trade your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, such as our payment processor and insurance carrier, and only as needed to complete your move. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of our crew and customers.
Data security. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we limit access to your data to staff who need it to do their jobs.
Your choices. You may ask us to review, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. We will respond promptly and honor reasonable requests consistent with our legal recordkeeping duties.
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page.
