About Accessible Moving — Massillon, OH
Accessible Moving started in 2012 with one truck and a simple idea: moving in Stark County should be affordable and free of the surprise fees that make people dread the whole thing. “I grew up here in Massillon, playing sandlot ball in the shadow of Tiger Stadium,” says owner Greg Hartline. “Before this I spent years in warehouse and freight logistics, and I watched too many families get blindsided by charges nobody told them about. I wanted to do it the plain way.”
That plain way is still how we run. We are a real moving company, not a broker and not a matching service. The trucks are ours. The movers are our own W-2 employees, not day labor and not subcontracted crews. When you book Accessible Moving, the people who load your home are the people we trained, and the price we wrote down is the price you pay.
Today the company is fifteen people, including ten full-time movers. The crew knows the streets here cold: the tight turns off Lincoln Way, the older homes near the Tuscarawas River with steep basement stairs, the apartment complexes out toward Jackson Township, the quick hop down US-30 or up I-77. Most of our work is local Stark County moving, but we also handle long-distance moves out of the area under our own interstate authority.
How we work is built to be easy. You tell us your two ZIP codes, your move date, and roughly what you are moving. We give you one flat-rate quote in writing, take an $89 deposit to lock the date, and show up on time with a truck stocked with blankets and dollies. Local work runs $119 an hour for a two-mover crew with a two-hour minimum, or a flat rate from $329 for a studio or one-bedroom. No hidden travel charges, no fuel tricks at the end.
We stay in Massillon and Stark County because this is home. Greg still answers the office at 137 Lincoln Way East, and the Hall of Fame is a short drive up the road in Canton. We move neighbors, and we plan to keep it that way.
